Enbridge's Ethics and Conduct Hotline provides Enbridge's employees, contract workers, consultants and vendors with a confidential and (if desired) anonymous channel for asking questions or expressing concerns about compliance and ethics issues, including concerns about internal accounting and auditing matters.
The Ethics and Conduct Hotline may be accessed through a toll-free telephone number (1-866–571-4989) that is available at all times or through the internet at www.enbridgehotline.com. Complaints are received by an independent service provider and are forwarded directly to Enbridge's Compliance Department for handling.
All submissions to Enbridge's Ethics and Conduct Hotline can be made anonymously. Calls and messages are not traced and the information provided is treated confidentially, within the bounds of the law.
Complaints may also be submitted by mail (or other means of delivery) to the Vice-President & Chief Compliance Officer or marked "Private and Strictly Confidential – Attention: Chair of the Audit, Finance & Risk Committee of Enbridge Inc." Envelopes so marked shall be forwarded unopened to the Committee Chair.
Enbridge has a policy of non-retaliation and non-discrimination against any person who reports a concern in good faith.
The Ethics and Conduct Hotline is intended to complement existing internal communication channels. It is not intended to replace typical means of addressing problems, such as dealing directly with management. The Ethics and Conduct Hotline is available to anyone who believes the typical means for bringing ethics and compliance complaints or other issues to light have been exhausted, or who feels uncomfortable about addressing an issue in any other way.
